Dr. Jacob Mendel

Dr. Jacob Mendel is Co-Chief Technology Officer at Parfin, which develops Rayls. He has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, cryptography and distributed ledger technology, including roles as Executive Director for DLT at J.P. Morgan and Head of Cryptography at State Street. He holds 23 patents in cybersecurity, blockchain and machine learning, and co-founded a security software company later acquired by Broadcom.
Jacob is Head of Cybersecurity Studies and a senior lecturer at Tel Aviv University's Coller School of Management. His research covers fully homomorphic encryption, multi-party computation, post-quantum cryptography and privacy-preserving machine learning, all central to how Rayls delivers privacy for regulated finance.
