Nuno Cervaens

Nuno Cervaens is Head of Engineering at Rayls, developed by Parfin. He joined as a Senior Blockchain Engineer working on Rayls' network of private, permissioned EVM chains for financial institutions, and now leads engineering teams.

His expertise covers blockchain architecture across layer 1, layer 2 and cross-chain protocols, Solidity smart contract development, distributed backend systems in Node.js and NestJS, and DeFi integrations. Nuno studied engineering at the University of Porto and is based in Portugal.
